Due to continued expansion, we require an Electronics Test Technician to join the Production Team. The main aspects of the role are board assembly testing, alignment and testing using high spec RF test equipment, environmental and final acceptance testing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ? Fault finding to component level, ? Following company and manufacturing procedures to meet customer requirements ? Alignment/Tuning and testing of RF Filters ? Alignment and testing of Power Amplifiers ? Complete test records accurately ? Highlight and solve problems as they arise during the test stage ? Identify improvement activities and implement solutions where possible ? Maintain a clean and efficient work area KEY ATTRIBUTES ? Experience of working within a manufacturing environment ? Experience of RF electronics would be an advantage ? Able to adhere and comprehend test documentation and instructions ? Able to use a variety of RF Electronic Testing equipment ? Understanding of electronic principles and problem solving techniques ? Ability to produce and interpret test data ? Able to test and align electronic components ? Must be IT literate with a solid Math’s and English capability ? Must be an excellent communicator, able to work closely with other members of the team. ? Self-motivated and able to independently progress projects ? Demonstrate – task ownership, commitment, initiative and flexibility as per company’s needs ? Organised with a systematic approach to engineering tasks ? Team player capable of sharing ideas ? Proactive approach, must drive an ethic of continuous improvement ? Quality orientated with attention to detail. ? Have a very good understanding of lab test equipment, for example, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes, power supplies ? Will be computer literate and familiar with using PCs to run tests and record results, write and modify documents etc. ? Good communicator - both written and spoken. Must be able to document and explain technical problems to others, must be willing to speak up in project meetings. ? Able to follow instructions and capable of and willing to carry out repetitive tasks to a high standard. ? Has demonstrable experience of performing troubleshooting, test and repair of prototype and pre-production products in a product development environment. ?
